How To Do Business With The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands

Here’s your chance to find out first hand how your business can partner with the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL).

On March 19, 2009, DHHL and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) announced they expect to infuse approximately $42.5 million dollars into the state’s economy when DHHL’s revenue bonds are issued in late March. The funds will be used for infrastructure to build more homes for native Hawaiians, help improve communities throughout the state, and will create much needed jobs during this difficult economy. Last summer, the OHA Board of Trustees approved a payment of $3 million a year to cover debt service for 30 years.
